Leaking Siphon Leads to New Product from PipePatch

On February 22, 2013, Mike Moore Business Development Manager of Source One Environmental (S1E) demonstrated the use of one of their newest products under the PipePatch line, an eight inch elbow packer system for the City of Dayton, Ohio. The challenge was to repair a damaged siphon. Siphons are designed at locations in which a sewer system is blocked by underground utilities or storm water drains. These siphons connect the upstream and downstream sewers with U-shaped vertical alignment such that they are always running full. Leaking siphons can cause serious environmental and erosion issues if they are not repaired in a timely fashion.
