Pittsburgh resident keeps his tree – A few years ago Gillece Services was called out to repair a section of a failed sewer lateral. To eliminate excavation in the street and cutting down a mature Maple tree, the new pipe ended near the tree. Since then the roots have plagued the sewer resulting in multiple calls to remove them and restore flow. PipePatch was used to seal off the roots and smooth an offset in the pipeline. When the new pipe was installed so was an exterior cleanout near the garage and recently poured two-year old concrete driveway. Source 1 was onsite to train the contractor and help the homeowner from destroying his yard. In less than 90 minutes the pipe was repaired and the roots were sealed off.
